Studios, The
only
prerequisite for those interested in enrolling in class is to possess a
strong
commitment to the work. No audits are offered. For
appointment,

Rate:
$100 per month. Payments
must be made in a timely manner.
The
class fee of $100 is due on the first class of each month. Those
enrolled
attend class once a week. Classes are 3 hours long and begin
promptly at 6 pm, running until 9 pm. All students are
required to stay the duration of class. A sufficient amount of
breaks
are provided. Classes are "month to month" and the rate cannot
be prorated for missed classes. However, it is possible to
arrange for a
make up class on another night if time and space allows. Checks
should be

Beginning
Class: The
goal of this class is to provide a safe environment where the novice
may
explore self-expression through acting. You
will: -
Develop keen listening and answering skills through the Meisner
repetition
technique -
Learn to act before you think -
Shut down the inner critic telling you how you should perform -
Begin to develop characters through scene work -
Acquire auditioning skills Beginning
to trust your own point of view in the moment is the first step to
realizing
the actor in you. Advanced
Class This
class is for the actor who has good fundamental skills and wants to
refine
technique. Each actor prepares a character differently, utilizing
his/her own
instrument. You
will: -
Explore the emotional center of a character -
Develop physical characterizations -
Find your own voice using scene study -
Learn the keys to getting a role and making it your own -
